Frosted Miniwheats

challenge:

when kids don’t eat a good breakfast it’s easy for them to get distracted from hunger at school.

Idea

working with laika, we created a few talking miniwheat critters to speak to mom’s, encouraging them to always keep their kids full and focused.

first, we partnered with laika’s mike wellin’s to develop the full mini family. my partner and i introduced ms. mini, little bite & frosty.

our mascots helped transform mini-wheats: adding ‘mini’ to the brand and packaging sparked over $1 billion in sales growth

same strategy, new flavors, sales followed

then we made some classic saturday morning tv spots

introduced lil bite, his puppy frosty & ms. mini

and of course some national print ads, including a scratch and sniff print, ad, sorry producer ;)
